Su-Lin Tan is a Sydney-based senior journalist with Green Street News. Most recently, she was a correspondent at the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong and Singapore where she covered trade, business and geopolitics. Before that, she spent six years at the Australian Financial Review (AFR), covering real estate deals, Chinese and Asian business and foreign investments as well as investigations. She was also an AFR Boss Magazine columnist on doing business with Asia.
Su-Lin brings a unique set of skills shaped by a pre-journalism career in investment banking and funds management. She began her career as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young and had financial services stints at State Street, Barclays, AMP Capital and Babcock & Brown. She speaks Mandarin and Malay.
